Tax Amnesty program The Pennsylvania Tax Amnesty program, which will waive 100 percent penalties and half of the interest for taxpayers who pay delinquent state taxes between April 26 and June 18, is now only days away. Your partnership in promoting PA Tax Amnesty will be key to the success of this program, which is intended to generate much-needed revenue to balance the current fiscal year budget. I’m pleased to share with you the official Web site of the PA Tax Amnesty program, www.PATaxPayUp.com , which offers resources you may find helpful in supporting PA Tax Amnesty. Online resources include a fact sheet, drop-in newsletter articles, a web graphic, commonly asked questions and answers, and step-by-step application instructions in English and Spanish. The online Tax Amnesty application will become available on April 26 – the start of PA Tax Amnesty – at www.PATaxPayUp.com No paper applications will be available. A toll-free hotline and call center featuring extended customer service hours dedicated to PA Tax Amnesty has also been established. Taxpayers may call 1-877-34-PAYUP (1-877-347-2987) from 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., weekdays, and from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on some Saturdays. Please consider promoting PA Tax Amnesty on your Web site, including an article in an upcoming newsletter, sending an e-mail blast to your membership or printing flyers or posters to have available at your next event. ![]() |
